On February 9 2013, I will join hundreds of zany souls who will take the plunge into the freezing Columbia River, and I am doing it to raise money for the athletes of Special Olympics Oregon. Please consider making a donation or PLUNGE to help me reach my goal because they need our help!

Every dollar counts, and the money goes all to Special Olympics Oregon, who never turns away an individual who wants to participate in their programs. OR The best way to plunge is with a team! By joining my team, you will help a great cause. Your efforts will raise money and awareness for the athletes of Special Olympics Oregon. Special Olympics Oregon provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Through sport, the athletes of Special Olympics Oregon develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills, and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes, and the community.
